…I always use this song as an example of how good Wire could be. They actually had another song that charted, but for sheer power this song is the one that grabs you by the throat. Recommended listening on a Friday or Saturday night.

12XU by Wire - apparently both the Sex Pistols and Minor Threat covered this one. I haven’t heard either version but I’ll have to keep an eye out. By the way, this is (obviously) a live version - although the studio version is pretty close.
