…I just like this song.  Nothing really else to say.  Here are two of the most notable performances – the first by it’s songwriter, Ray Davies of the Kinks.  The second is by Elliot Smith who does the best cover of this I have heard(although the video posted isn’t of a very high quality).  The original is still my favorite, but I have an old MP3 live recording of decent quality of Smith doing it that is really touching.  Apparently, Smith played it quite a bit live.
