I’m a big fan of Orange Juice - the band and the beverage.  Lead singer Edwyn Collins has such a unique voice and is vastly under appreciated as song writer.  A few years ago he suffered from a couple of serious brain hemorrhages and was forced to enter neural rehab for his recovery.  Amazingly he was able to recover to the point that he recorded a new solo album recently.  Below you’ll find his most popular older tune with Orange Juice and the new song from his most recent album as well as one of my favorite Orange Juice tunes(Holiday Hymn).

…by the way, Simon Reynolds wrote out a wonderful book on post punk music called Rip It Up and Start Again.  A highly recommend read to anyone looking to learn more about the roots of many modern indie rock bands.
